I have to do a 100-page novel due in a few hours for my majors class. I'm taking up Malikhaing Pagsulat (that's Creative Writing in Filipino) at the University of the Philippines. I love my course but it's a very tedious process. Writing requires a lot of brainstorming, and brainstorming requires A LOT of time--something that I don't have. I'm a member of one of the official performing groups in the university--i'm a choir geek. Singing is my emotional outlet. Basically, I perform a lot, i go home late, so that diminishes the creative process. I mean, how can you think of a good story if your body is craving for sleep? studying for an exam compared to making a movie script, a short story, or a novel is a cynch.

Maybe i should shift. What do you think?
